LA GUNS Announces 2022 Tour Dates

SHOTGUNS announced a 40-date US tour for this spring, summer and winter. The trek will begin June 1 in Liverpool, New York and continue through New Years in West Hollywood, California.

SHOTGUNS‘ last album, “Checkerboard Pass”was released last November via Frontiers Music Srl. The marked effort SHOTGUNS‘ third album since the 2016 reunion of the main members of the group Phil Lewis (singing) and Tracii Pistols (guitar). It follows on from 2017 “The Missing Peace” and 2019 “The Devil You Know”.

In April 2021, a settlement was reached between drummer Steve Riley and Pistols and lewis on the rights of SHOTGUNS Name. Under the terms of the settlement agreement, Pistols and lewis continue to operate under SHOTGUNS brand, while Riley and his acolytes from the other version of SHOTGUNS will now operate under the new name RILEY’S GUNS.

SHOTGUNS was formed in 1983 and has sold over six million records, including those from 1988 “LA Guns” and 1990s “Armed and Loaded”both certified gold. “Armed and Loaded” contained the hit single “The Ballad of Jayne” which went to No. 33 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 and No. 25 on the Mainstream Rock charts. From the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s, SHOTGUNS continued to tour and release new music. Following their successful performance at SiriusXMit is hair nation festival in September 2016, SHOTGUNS went into the studio to record the critically acclaimed film “The Missing Peace”which was the best-selling version for Frontiers Music Srl in 2017. Their 12th album, “The Devil You Know”, was released in 2019 to equal critical acclaim. Since the reunion, Tracii and Phil keep going around the world with SHOTGUNSwhich currently includes Shane Fitzgibbon (drums),Johnny Martin (low) and Ace Von Johnson (guitar).
