GREENFIELD – The Tupelo Community Forest is now open for outdoor activities in Saratoga County.
The 145-acre forest at 250 Greene Road offers three miles of trails for hiking, biking and more daily from dawn to 10 p.m.
Saratoga Plan privately owns the forest and has a conservation easement in place to protect the land in conjunction with the Saratoga Mountain Bike Association. The project was part of a larger vision to activate open spaces in the Capital Region.
“Tupelo is a welcome addition to our community and another opportunity for individuals to enjoy the outdoors in Saratoga County – one of the healthiest places to live,” said the county chamber of commerce president. of Saratoga, Todd Shimkus.
